We’re looking for an SEO Project Manager who will work inside the SEO team, not with clients. Your focus will be coordinating SEO execution: turning strategy into clear tasks in ClickUp, assigning work across SEO specialists, and keeping deadlines and priorities under control.
This role is a strong fit for someone who understands SEO well, thinks in workflows, and can keep multiple projects moving without losing quality or momentum.
What you’ll do
- Keep SEO projects organized in ClickUp: turn priorities from the Campaign Manager into clear tasks, owners, and deadlines
- Plan the team’s workload for the week and month based on SEO strategies prepared by our SEO Specialists
- Assign tasks to SEO Specialists, copywriters, link builders, and developers (when needed) and track progress
- Follow up on deadlines, remove small blockers, and make sure tasks are closed properly, not “almost done”
- Stay in day-to-day contact with the SEO team: quick check-ins, clarifications, updates
- Join weekly syncs and help keep updates structured and actionable
- Make sure everyone can see what’s happening in the project at any time: status, next steps, and priorities
We’re looking for someone who
- Understands SEO well enough to coordinate work confidently (technical, content, and off-page tasks)
- Is naturally organized and comfortable managing several projects at once
- Takes ownership: you notice when something is slipping and bring it back on track
- Communicates clearly and keeps a calm tone, even when things get busy
- Pays attention to details and likes clean, structured processes
- Has hands-on experience with ClickUp (or a similar tool and can learn fast)
- Has English at B2 level or higher
- Wants to grow in SEO and digital marketing, not just “manage tasks”
You don’t need to be an SEO Specialist, but you do need to speak the same language as the team and understand what’s urgent, what’s important, and what can wait.

SEO F1RST is a team of high-level SEO experts. We’ve been working since 2018 and we run SEO projects for SaaS, service, and B2B companies in the US, UK, Europe, and Australia.
Our team works in a structured way: we start with an SEO audit and SEO strategy, then turn them into execution. That means clear tasks, clear ownership, realistic deadlines, and consistent progress tracking. We need someone who can coordinate the SEO team day to day and keep projects moving in our task manager.
To do that well, you need to understand what Search Engine Optimization work looks like in real life: keyword research tasks, link building workflows, competitor analysis, technical fixes, local SEO updates, and SEO migration checklists. Your job is to keep these activities aligned, moving on time, and completed with quality.
